The food was excellent! However the server we had was pretty rude, I would go there again, but if she is my server I'll be asking for a different table. My daughter, daughter-in-law and I went there for a birthday lunch today (Friday) it was not super busy. We sat for 10 mins before anyone even brought us water, my daughter-in-law had gotten there a few minutes early and already had a table, water should have already been there. We sat for 10 mins before anyone even came to the table to bring us water. My daughter-in-law ordered a regular coffee with cream and sugar, which...having been a server in my lifetime, I would have gotten to her right away. Let me re-iterate, there were open tables, it was not packed. Finally after an additional 10 mins after our full order, our drinks showed up, then after another 10 mins the food. The food was great BUT not all hot, or even warm. My daughter-in-law ordered pancakes and sausage, the sausage was cold, my daughter had chicken and waffles, the fries were cold, I ordered the garden veggie omelet with mushrooms instead of peppers - for some reason they left out tomatoes. We gave up on waiting to ask our server for boxes when we were done

This place is a gem! My husband and I went there for breakfast for the first time this morning. After hearing so many great reviews about the shrimp and grits, I had to try them for myself and they were great! So flavorful, and they definitely did not hold out on the shrimp. I also got the beef bacon, and it was soooo good. I have never seen it on the menu before at other restaurants, so this is another plus of the place. Our server was great as well! I love the atmosphere and the painted rocks out front. We'll definitely be back! I'm looking forward to trying the mushroom coffee and the biscuits and gravy. So many delicious options! 😋

Great food and great vibes! They even had biscuits and gravy without the red meat gravy (no sausage). Service was wonderful and they’re black owned. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my mother’s birthday!

I had a wonderful experience at Petal Pop Cafe! I decided to go on my day off work and was glad I did. My server- Bianca, was incredibly friendly and attentive! I ordered the shrimp and grits along with the pancakes, and both were delicious. The sauce on the shrimp and grits was savory, rich, and full of flavor—it really brought the dish together. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and absolutely yummy. Between the excellent service and the delicious food, this was a great dining experience. The restaurant was clean and I felt very comfortable about dining at this establishment. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Petal Pop Cafe to anyone looking for great food and outstanding customer service!
